As my Sweetheart and I were walking around DC on Valentine’s Day, we walked past a little flower shop. Shawn told me to wait outside (in the cold)while he ran in to buy me a rose. All we could afford was one rose but the people inside the shop were very nice and offered to wrap the rose up pretty at no extra charge.
He came out with this beautiful arrangement!
AND this box of rosepetals which they also gave us at no charge…
which I made into a garland when we got home.
Before dinner at a delicious pizza restaraunt, we went to the Smithsonian (Museum of Natural History) where we got this beautiful amber necklace.
Our daughter’s sent my valentines with me with the instructions *not to look at them until Valentine’s Day*.
And I made THEIR valentines to open on Valentine’s Day too.
