Speaking of swaps… Has anyone had a swap partner flake on them? Well let me tell you my story… I signed up to be part of a Strawberry Swap and was sooo excited because I love strawberry stuff! I emailed my swap partner and she responded once. After that I checked her NEW blog a few times and then all of the sudden she stopped posting stuff. I thought “so she’s just busy”. Well it has been since August 8th with no contact and she won’t respond to any emails from myself or the host of the swap. :o( I have everything ready to mail and no partner to send it to… If any of you want to be my Strawberry Swap partner, please let me know!!!
One last thing… My good friend Lindsay from The Cross-Stitch House has tagged me! She gave clues as to whom she was tagging and this is what she had to say about me “My FAIRY friend of german descent who likes to shop at Libertys.” I have to write 6 random things about myself.
1~ I make friends easily, but when I’m in a crowd I tend to let everyone else do the talking.
2~I played the trumpet in my High School band. I was self taught and learned it in the second semester of my sophomore year.
3~ My parent’s had 4 daughters (I’m #2), and then 4 sons. No, I’m not going to follow in their footsteps and try to have four sons now.
4~I like the color red… the red you think of when you see a ripe strawberry, or a red mushroom with white polka dots
5~I like to laugh out loud when I see a funny part in a movie. It’s intimidating when I’m in a crowded movie theatre and I’m the only one laughing.
6~I’m a night owl, but really I’m just forcing myself to stay awake. I don’t know why I do this.

Missy- This is so funny! I sent my strawberry swap partner her gift a lllooonnggg time ago and still have not gotten my package. She did write to me a few weeks ago, but I am starting to think she may flake out. I am trying to be patient….:) It’s frustrating when people don’t follow through, though. It takes all the fun out of it. If I hadn’t sent my package already, I would have loved to have been your partner! Lori
OH NO I dont like flakers one bit!! thats a bad thing to do to a swaper! JUST REMEMBER KARMA ALWAYS come back to bit you in the buttie! haha
