Red, White, and Blue Tag Swap

Happy 4th of July!!!

4th july tag swap

This was my very first tag swap I’ve done.  I had a ton of fun making these!  all the participants made 17 tags each and sent them to Jessica (the host of the swap) to be made into a tag book.

All of the tags were the jumbo 4 3/4 x 2 3/8 size

I used a piece of vintage red/white/and blue streamer and the clipart from a vintage schoolbook.  of coarse I had to use glitter on the edges to make it fancy!  I used a stamp on the back to make it look like fireworks.

I had to photograph the tags in smaller grouping so you could see their detail a little better…

the artists (starting on the top left corner) are:

Priscila at Casa Bella Chic
Jane (no blog)
Katherine at lagniappe
 rwb tags 1
 Fran (no blog)
Mary ann at Follow Your Bliss
Sandra at Sew Revived

 rwb tags 2

Molly at Molly Pearce
Leslie at Junkgirl Studio
Missy at Fairy Child Heirlooms   (ME!!!)

I just have to say that Blanca’s tag smells Soooo good! she sell packs of them in her ETSY shop. I think that Jessica used Blanca’s tags for the ones she made.  they made the entire package smell yummy!

a big huge thank-you to Jessica for hosting this swap and for sending me these fun goodies (below)!

ps.  while you are visiting all of these blogs,  keep in mind that Pricila is having a GIVEAWAY for some vintage goodness!  And BLANCA is having a giveaway for some of her yummy tags! And it looks like ANDREA’S amazing giveaway is still going on right now too.
