A Beautiful Swap

It’s always so fun to do a personal swap!   My friend Jen just had a sweet baby girl  She loves the heirloom baby dresses that I make and wanted one of the dresses and matching blankets for her little sweetie.  Since money is so tight these days, I suggested we do a swap (Jen finds wonderful vintage stuff from estate sales, etc… visit her Shoppe!)

Here’s the dress and blanket.  It’s still a little too big for Scarlette to wear quite yet

Here’s what Jen sent to me

fabric vtgplate germanyplate blingbling1 rh mags apje1

5 yards of beautiful pale yellow decorator weight fabric

Jen believes this vintage Limoges plate (the white plate) dates between 1892-1907 due to the marking T&V France. It measures about 5.5″ inches.

the pale lavender plate  with the pearlized center is the same size and is marked  D&B Germany and signed Jorgensen (?)

Vintage Rhinestone Pin

two copies of Romantic Home magazine

Little Girls PJ Bottoms-Size 8- Vintage Sheets

Thanks Jen! you are awesome!  I am looking forward to seeing Sarlette in her pretty dress!

I’m always up for doing personal swaps like this.  Let me know if you are interested! Christmas is coming and I would love to trade some stuff for presents this year!

About Missy

I'm a wife to an awesome Army vet, and mother to four daughters and three step-sons! I love to sew. I learned to sew in 4H, and from my Oma while staying with her for a week or two in the summers as a young girl. I love to bake desserts. I would love to live on lots of land and own lots of animals. I've always been drawn to nature which has lead me towards a more natural and healthy lifestyle which I'm finally trying to bring back into my life, and those precious lives around me.
