Where Did Missy Go?

I’m sure that you have been asking yourself this question for the past two weeks.  Weeellllll, I’ll tell you!

My oldest niece Jill graduated from High School

The next day Hubby and I took our kids to visit my sister Marsie and her family in Las Vegas.  We were able to see my niece’s dance recital…

Shawn and I saw the Barenaked Ladies Concert, with Serena Ryder as the opening act, at The Beach at Mandalay Bay…

and The Beatles LOVE, Cirque du Soleil

We took the kids to see the LDS Los Vegas, Nevada temple

When we arrived home, I had only one day to do the laundry and then send Shawn to Ontario, California for a business trip.  I then drove out (yes, by myself) the following day to pick him up so we could have a mini honeymoon that weekend.  I left early so I could be done driving by 4pm.  I was so worried that I would get too sleepy while driving!  I did great though.  🙂

while we were only about an hour from LA, we decided to go see a few of the sights.

American Girl Place (doll store)…

the Hollywood sign…

the LDS Los Angeles, California temple…

and the Staples Center (home of the Lakers)

After that, we headed to Anaheim where we spent the next three days at Disneyland!

We got home Monday night and I had one day to do laundry and get my two oldest daughters packed for Girl’s Camp with the church.  they get home tomorrow so now it’s back to normal life for us.  I’m glad we are on our Summer break from school!

    Hi Missy
I had been wondering where you were! Now I know you were having LOTS of fun. I enjoyed hearing about it all. The Barenaked Ladies Concert sounds interesting! Glad you enjoyed some special time with your husband and at Disneyland too. Love the picture of you both.
